But Spring has finally arrived, with lovely warm breezes, golden sunshine, and sometimes the gentle sounds of songbirds. Songbirds are not very common in the city, but there are a few, and they are delightful.
I shall henceforth try to update more often.
I have recently completed a watercolour painting of lilies-of-the-valley. My first two attempts were not satisfactory; the first one was too dull and too dark, whilst the second one sported flowers which looked more like trumpet flowers rather than lilies-of-the-valley. But my third attempt was a success, and I am very pleased with it.
